Psalm 145:4 says "Each generation will announce to the next your wonderful and powerful deed".   There is much to tell to the next generation - how Jesus powerfully saves and transforms lives, how He still heals and delivers and brings us out of our old lives and makes us new.

We invite you to meet Jesus.  He is the center of the people in Abundant Life.  As a church we want you to know that GOD has a plan for your life.  Abundant LIFE Church is a Spirit-filled--- a 'come as you are' church in the heart of Altoona, PA.

Mind the Do Nots

Read Leviticus 16:1 through 18:30

Increasingly, the world pushes against the Church in an attempt to silence the Christian voice. Accusations of intolerance and irrelevance abound, but a life lived well before God is hard to refute. Love in action speaks louder than words. The Church must resist the corrupting influences of the world and work to strengthen the weak hearts of the would-be faithful.

“Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God” (Leviticus 18:30).

In the midst of world turmoil, it is important to stay true to God and His Word. The display of true Christian love and biblical values is a stark contrast to the customs and beliefs that oppose God. He expects His children to act in a manner that honors His character. When we honor Him, we are a light to a lost world.

Thought for Today: Resistance overcomes weakness, while compromise corrupts strength.
